What is Whiplash?
A whiplash injury usually occurs when a vehicle causes jolting or muscles, ligaments or tendons to be damaged within the neck. Whiplash does not, at times, happen straight away and can develop over a short period of time, sometimes even days later.
Indications of whiplash are pain in the shoulders, arms or lower back, pins and needles in the arm, tiredness and poor concentration, spasms to the muscles, blurred vision, dizziness, headaches and most importantly pain, loss of movement or continued stiffness in the neck area.
Whiplash injuries do not necessarily only arise from road traffic accidents, they can also be caused in other accidents.
